Labtrac Mobile

Labtrac Mobile harnesses the power and portability of the Handheld PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) with wireless network card to provide the laboratory with a mobile Touchscreen facility. Inventrix have taken the Touchscreen facilities available to the technician, and tailored them to the PDA so that the laboratory has a complementary tool to the static Touchscreen facility.

Labtrac Mobile is an ideal tool for the Supervisor and the Quality Control personnel in the laboratory – they can be on the move, looking at Technician’s work or checking the quality of work in various departments but still have access to the central system and update Cases as they work. By virtue of the PDA screen size not all the facilities of Touchscreen are as easily exploited on the PDA but, as a cost effective means of giving access to the system to the some of the laboratory personnel, we believe Labtrac Mobile is a powerful facility for the laboratory.
